I was born in 1955 in Torun where I live now. I have husband Leszek , a daughter Alicja and two crazy cats named Amelia and Rysio. In 1975-80 I studied at the Academy of Fine Arts /Faculty of Painting, Graphics and Sculpture/ in Wroclaw. In 1980 I defended my diploma in graphic design. I practiced painting, drawing, printmaking and publishing /illustration and poster /. For many years I have illustrated about 35 books for children and 27 children's calendars , and a lot of small projects . From 2013 also I am dealing with cartoons. In my achievements are national and international, individual and group exhibitions. Major awards and distinctions in competitions: 1977,1978- Contests poster "Sanepid" Wrocław- 2 and 1 prize 1981- Poster Competition "Together", Katowice- 2 prize 1983- Humour and Satirate inArts Gabrovo,Bulgaria- special prize for satirical illustration 1986- Cultural Award'86- from newspaper "Facts", Bydgoszcz 1992- National Review of Calendars, Warsaw- 2nd prize 2013- Olense Kartoenale, Belgium - Special Award 2014- Tuba Satyrica, Torun - Grand Prix 2014- Olive Cartoon Contest, Cyprus - 1st prize 2014- "Smiling Cat" Cartoon Web Contest- honorable mention 2014-"Station Kutno" contest for illustrating Jeremy Przybora - 2nd prize 2015- PortoCartoon, Portugal - 2nd prize 2015- Olense Kartoenale, Belgium - 4th prize 2015- Sicaco 2015,Seoul, South Korea - Gold Prize 2015- Drawn Humor Competition- Seeing of unseeing, Sina Nitra, Slovakia - honorable mention 2015-2nd International Competition Noticartun Colombia 2015- 4th honorable mention 2016- Satyrykon, Legnica- Special Prize of Museum of Caricature in Warsaw 2016- The First International Contest Animal Cartoon 2016- “Zoologicai Garden”, Belgrade, Serbia – 1st prize
